Michael Compo was born in and raised in a small town called Somers Point, New Jersey. At a young age, Michael loved sports and participated in wrestling, surfing, karate and skateboarding while attending high school. He obtained his black belt in Tae Kwon Do after graduating from Stockton University in New Jersey.
Michael attended St. Thomas Law School in Miami, Florida where he attained the position of Executive Editor of Law Review and facilitated support of the newly founded Tax Clinic. After obtaining his J.D., Michael pursued an LLM in Taxation from Villanova University Law School and proceeded to operate his own successful law firm in Miami, Florida for 11 years.
Michael is a member of the New Mexico, Florida and New Jersey Bar Associations and has over 14 years of legal experience as a general litigator in a variety of matters in State and Federal Court including Real Estate, Commercial Litigation, Wills, Trusts and Estates, Employment Law and Business Litigation.
Michael now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he practices primarily Real Estate Litigation and continues to share his love of surfing, skiing, hiking and mountain biking with his wife and two daughters.
