Matthew joined MSA after his six-year engagement with the law firm Powers Kirn, LLC in Philadelphia, where he represented mortgage loan servicers in default mortgage litigation and quasi-federal lender entities in the REO sale of residential properties and developed practical litigation and dispute resolution skills through motions practice and court appearances. Prior to his Philadelphia practice, Matthew worked on clearing and running title for hundreds of acres of land in the Appalachian Basin of the Marcellus Shale in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
Matthew brings extensive knowledge of real property law with his vast experience in the mortgage servicing industry, specifically with closing real estate transactions and title insurance issues. He provides clients with superior solutions no matter the complexity of the issue, while keeping in mind that communication and attention to detail are paramount.
Outside of the practice of law, Matthew enjoys hiking and exploring Colorado with his wife and dog, playing in a recreational volleyball league and bouldering.
